Online learning can explain principles, standards and conditions. Clinical confidence develops when someone experienced can observe your technique, help you assess the whole situation and give you specific feedback while you work with real people.
The clinical portion connects knowledge to instrument handling, positioning, pacing, documentation, client communication, infection-prevention workflow, referral judgment and the practical realities of providing care safely and efficiently.

Plan your clinical days
Arrange four training days in Duncan, subject to availability. Days may be scheduled consecutively or spaced to support different learning and travel needs.
Work with real clients
Complete supervised hands-on training with at least 13 clients while receiving direct observation, correction and guidance throughout each clinical day.
Stay supported
Remain connected through mentorship and the private student Facebook group as you encounter new cases, make practice decisions and continue developing professionally.

Chrystal teaches beyond the treatment steps. The program is intentionally transparent about the practical realities of foot care nursing: equipment and supply choices, sterilization workflow, documentation, client communication, scheduling, pricing considerations, common mistakes and lessons learned from building an active practice.
The goal is not to protect information as a trade secret. It is to help nurses build sound clinical judgment, make informed decisions and enter practice with a clearer view of what professional, sustainable care requires.

Chrystal has been an LPN since 2006 and has owned Longevity Foot Care since 2016. She is an active clinician, educator and business owner whose teaching is shaped by years of caring for real clients, training nurses, refining systems and continuing to learn.
She also serves as the British Columbia representative for the Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses for 2025–2026.

Before you register
Who may apply?
The program is intended for Canadian nurses who meet current Foot Canada Training eligibility requirements. An active, non-restricted Canadian nursing licence and professional liability insurance are required before clinical training begins. Nursing students may complete theory but must be appropriately licensed before the clinical portion. Nurses registered outside British Columbia are responsible for confirming or obtaining the authorization required to complete clinical training in BC.
Is the clinical training one-to-one?
Yes. Longevity’s clinical training is privately scheduled so teaching, observation and feedback can be tailored to the individual nurse.
Where is clinical training held?
Clinical training is based in Duncan, British Columbia. Depending on scheduling and client availability, the experience may include clinic, community, long-term-care or outreach settings.
Can the four clinical days be consecutive?
Clinical days may be arranged consecutively or spaced apart, subject to educator, client and program availability. Scheduling is discussed directly before dates are confirmed.
What is included in the $3,315 CAD tuition?
Tuition covers the complete blended program: 120 hours of online theory delivered through Foot Canada Training, four private clinical-training days with Longevity, clinical training supplies and the ongoing student support described on this page. Taxes are included. The required textbook is purchased separately.
How do I purchase the required textbook?
Program students receive a $25 textbook discount when the book is arranged directly through Longevity during registration. The program-student price is $115 CAD with pickup in Duncan or Victoria. Shipping is also available for $115 CAD plus the applicable shipping expense.

How long do I have to complete the theory?
The online theory must be completed within 12 months. Clinical dates are arranged after the required theory has been completed and remain subject to educator and client availability.

Does the program expand my nursing scope?
No course independently changes a nurse’s legal scope. Every learner is responsible for understanding and following the requirements, standards and restrictions that apply in their own province or territory.
