Join Chrystal for a focused three-day clinical refresher designed for practicing foot care nurses who want to strengthen their confidence, refresh their hands-on skills, and review safe clinical decision-making in routine and specialized foot care.
This small-group course is available for nurses who have already completed foot care nurse training and would benefit from guided review, professional skill refinement, and practical discussion in a supportive clinical learning environment.

📚 What This Course Covers
✅ Day 1: Theory & Clinical Reasoning Review
The first day will focus on refreshing the foundational knowledge behind safe nursing foot care.
We will review scope of practice, infection prevention, anatomy, common foot and nail conditions, circulation, neuropathy, diabetes-related concerns, red flags, referral considerations, and documentation expectations.
This day is designed to strengthen clinical judgment and help nurses feel more confident deciding what is safe, appropriate, and within scope during a foot care appointment.
✅ Day 2: Professional Routine Care Skills Review
The second day will focus on routine clinical foot care skills and professional treatment flow.
Topics may include assessment flow, client positioning, instrument handling, nail and skin care technique, callus and corn care within nursing scope, finishing care, client education, and charting.
This day is intended to help nurses refine technique, improve efficiency, and strengthen safe, professional routine care practices.
✅ Day 3: Specialized Skills Review
The final day will focus on more specialized clinical situations available to the foot care nurse in practice.
Topics may include nail bracing and banding, offloading, silicone orthosis, specialized skin and callus care, referral pathways, and case-based clinical decision-making.
This day is designed to help nurses build confidence and knowledge of advanced techniques while staying within safe nursing foot care boundaries.

This refresher is intended for nurses who have already completed foot care nurse education and want to update, review, or strengthen their clinical skills.

This is a clinical refresher course for nurses with previous foot care training.
