Longevity workshops bring nurses and other eligible foot health professionals together for practical demonstrations, guided practice, clinical discussion and direct access to an educator who still works in the field. Workshops are scheduled in response to learner demand, professional partnerships and conference opportunities.

Nail Bracing & Nail Reconstruction

Focused education in assessment, product selection, application principles, client suitability, follow-up and professional limitations within the participant's role and scope.

Vascular assessment

Peripheral Arterial Disease & ABPI

Connect peripheral arterial disease knowledge with vascular screening, ankle-brachial pressure index principles, interpretation, limitations, documentation and appropriate referral.

PAD and ABPI are taught together as one clinical topic

Custom device fabrication

Silicone Orthoses & Padding

Hands-on fabrication of conservative devices with attention to material quantity, shape, finish, client education, monitoring and the clinical reasoning behind each design.

March 2023

Three-Day Foot Care Conference

Developed in collaboration with Cindy Lazenby, RN, founder of Foot Canada Training, with special guest speakers and suppliers. Day one focused on diabetic foot care; day two covered PAD, ABPI and compression therapy; and day three provided a clinical refresher.

2023–2025

CAFCN Conference Workshops

Collaborative silicone orthosis education with Cindy Lazenby at the 2023 CAFCN Annual Conference, followed by additional silicone orthosis workshops taught through CAFCN conferences in 2024 and 2025.

Offloading Essentials Hands-On

A practical small-group workshop where participants worked directly with different offloading materials, device concepts and real clinical problem-solving.
