Difference between Steel and Ceramic? Ceramic is know to be more slow to heat up and are typically more expensive then steel as a result. It is also said that ceramic are longer lasting. Though in my experience I have found both steel and ceramic burs are long lasting and depending on quality can last indefinitely! (until you forget to account for them on your treatment table and accidentally throw them away 🤭)
